Jeff Harrison moved to Las Vegas after being born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He loves his job here. He mainly chose to work at Chaparral because one of his college friends convinced him to work here.
The thing he likes most about his students is that they are respectful and have free will to be themselves. He said that he likes to see the growth within students, especially has he is growing himself.
During his own high school years he was very active in athletics. He played, basketball, football, baseball and threw shotput for track.
He divulged in describing himself as free spirited, calm and collected with a hint of being nonchalant.
“The favorite thing about myself is my ambition,” said Harrison. This ambition and drive he hopes to instill in his own students while working here.
Other than his current job at Chaparral, he works as an electrician on the strip for a family business. His brothers have owned the electrician company for a couple of years, now so it is never a problem going back and forth.
Harrison has a business administration degree at UNLV and is now working on his masters in educational leadership.
