A teacher I’d like to honor is my Algebra I teacher, Mr. Felsenfeld. I don’t really like math, but he makes it way easier to learn and comprehend what’s going on. He is great at teaching and has helped me a lot, as I have an A in his class.

You can tell he genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed as he always walks around and checks to make sure everyone is doing their work and understands what’s going on. When I’m in his class the period always flies by quickly, as long as I’m doing my work the whole day goes by faster. He motivates me to always have my grade up and even though I’m not the best at math and I don’t really enjoy it that much, it’s still one of my favorite periods.

Mr. Felsenfeld is definitely one of my favorite teachers and has made my freshman year a lot easier, which is why I’ve chosen to honor him.
