Fulfillment Fund Supports All Grade Levels
November 2, 2022
Ms. Victoria Parker from Fulfillment Fund has a special message for our freshman. She said during a recent presentation to Ms. Farmer’s Freshman Studies classes that if she could give one piece of advice to all the freshman, she would tell them number one to get good grades.
“It’s very important to get good grades because they help you do things in the future like graduate,” said Parker. She added that you should also involve yourself in extra activities at school.
To acquire good grades you should stay on top of your work. One thing about school is that when you fall behind, sometimes it can be hard to catch back u. Getting involved in school extracurricular activities whether its sports, things like band, or the B.S.U can encourage students to keep there grades up and motivate them to work hard because you cant get involved in all the fun things when your grades are bad. Always remember school comes first. The last piece of advice she shared was about attendance. How can you get the good grades you want, if your not in class to get the knowledge you need to acquire the grades? Not only can bad attendance affect your grades, but it can also affect your life outside of schoolwork. Attendance can also affect your eligibility for sports. Coaches know school comes first and with bad grades or bad attendance they wont allow you to play. Another thing we encourage you to get involved in is fulfillment fund!!It’s available to all students here at Chaparral, not just our freshman.
