The Sun Rises on the 2022-2023 School Year
Seniors Excited to Make this School Year the Best
October 5, 2022
This year’s Senior Sunrise kicked off the activities of the new school year. Seniors, decked out in their crowns, enjoyed a breakfast of burritos and donuts. They listened to music, and took pictures with friends as the sun rose over the football field.
Senior Class President Ashlea Claus-Gibbs said that the seniors this year are excited to finally branch out and do all of the things that we have wanted since freshman year.
“We just want to enjoy ourselves,” said Claus-Gibbs. “But most of all, I think that we should do a remembrance for our class, like leave our mark.”
Senior Class Advisor Francie Angelov said, “These students deserve so much! Most of their high school experience was stolen from them by the pandemic.”
Seniors activities this year will include ice cream sales, car washes, and more as the class prepares to end their high school career on a high note!
