A partial eclipse took over the morning sky Monday, April 8. With special viewing glasses, many were able to capture the memory by using a lens from the glasses as a filter for their own camera to get some great shots. Eclipse fans in other parts of the country farther east were treated to a total eclipse, as long as the skies were clear. Social media sites such as TikTok and Instagram had a live feed of the astronomical event that viewers world-wide could take in. We won’t see another event like this for another 20 years!
