After pouring through the old yearbooks found here on campus, we found that homecoming traditions have really changed over the years. The one aspect that hasn’t changed over the decades is how much school pride our students have. Whether students dressed up, were casual, or in costume, homecoming is all about making the memories. Below are a few pictures from over the 5 decades that Chaparral has been open. We can’t wait to see what homecoming will be like next year!

About the Contributors
Cadence Eckhoff, Staff Reporter
Writing is an activity that allows us to express ourselves through our words. This is true especially for Cadence Eckhoff, a sophomore journalism student here at Chaparral. Outside of school she enjoys drawing as well as just enjoying friends’ company. While writing isn’t her ideal career choice for her, Cadence believes that it will still be a really useful tool in the future. The wording of a resume or how well you’re able to write and convey points may be what lands you a decent job after all. The world runs on money, so it’s best to get ahead of the game and think of the future sooner rather than later. Cadence surely isn’t missing the chance to earn more money.
