His main goal each day is to help keep our school safe for everyone that works at or attends here. Officer Britton Hoffmann of Clark County District Police force has been working at Chaparral High School for 3 years now.
He said, “I love it here. I chose to be here. I could have chosen another school in the valley but I chose Chaparral.”
“I like the kids that are here,” he added. “I have built relations with some of the students here.”
Hoffmann grew up on the South side of Chicago. He has been working as a police officer for the last 12 years. He has done many things such as flying helicopters and building motorcycles. He also loves to snowboard in Mammoth California, Utah and other places.
Hoffmann has been in many intense and crazy situations and dangerous places. One time he was dragged under the side of a vehicle on the television show Live PD when he was trying to catch a suspect who fled away from the police. After speed chase, they ended up arresting the suspect and took the fugitive into custody.
Hoffmann plans to stay at Chaparral for as long as he can.
