One of the seniors that I would like to honor this year is Priscilla Vasquez. She is the best senior I have met during this school year.

Priscilla has been here at Chaparral for all four years! She said that her freshman year was one of her favorite years here.

“The people that I met then made it really great,” said Vasquez. “Everything was much smoother back then. Also we didn’t have a block schedule.”

She also received a Perfect Attendance award her freshman year, which she is still proud of to this day.

She explained that it is very important to keep your grades up in high school.

“Then as a senior you may have the opportunity to have open class periods,” said Vazquez. “Also join anything that you can to make memories with friends. You will be a senior before you know it, so make everyday count.”

All in all she loved her experiences here; even through the Covid-19 lockdown. “It might feel very difficult at times, but it is all worth it in the end!”
