Pushing Us to Do Our Best
May 9, 2023
A teacher that I would like to honor is my third grade teacher, Ms. Smallwood, now known as Mrs. Bennet. She was like my second mom at the time of being. She was very supportive and pushed me to be my best self and at my highest potential. She put me in multiple programs that will allow me to progress past my current expectations. She made sure I was well aware of my knowledge and the potential I had.
When I was in the wrong, she made sure to help me correct my ways and taught me there are things such as mistakes. She never count them as mistakes though because it was more of a choice and decision that I had to make in order to get the consequences; whether they were good or bad.
She put extra time and effort into helping me grow in any aspect that I needed growth in. Teacher-wise she maintained her class well and treated us that she felt we deserved as long as we were doing as such. She had a lot of fun projects and activities to make learning fun even though she did not have to and we all greatly appreciate her for hat.
