Mrs. McDowell was my 4th-grade teacher and she was the best teacher I’ve ever had. She made learning fun and exciting, and I always looked forward to going to her class. Mrs. McDowell was always patient with us, even when we didn’t understand something. She would take the time to explain it to us in a way that we could understand.

Mrs. McDowell was also really creative. She would come up with all sorts of fun activities and games that helped us learn. I remember one time we had to build a bridge out of toothpicks and marshmallows, and it was so much fun. But what I loved most about Mrs. McDowell was that she cared about us. She would always ask us how we were doing and she would listen to us when we had problems. I remember one time I was having a really rough day, and she took me aside and talked to me about it. It made me feel so much better.

Mrs. McDowell was an amazing teacher and I’m so grateful that I had her.
