Best of 2022: Concert-BTS Permission to Dance on Stage Las Vegas

Sarai Gonzalez, Staff Reporter

For me the best event of 2022 was the BTS concert I went to on April 8, 2022. I went to it with my cousin. It was expensive, but it was super worth it! I had to buy resale tickets because I thought I could manage to get tickets later on for a normal price; as if BTSs fans aren’t crazy and would absolutely sell out a stadium!
Getting prepared for the concert and the days before the concert were so memorable because I had such a fun time getting ready. I was so nervous yet so excited for it. Going to Allegiant Stadium was so crazy for me. Standing next to the stadium and seeing how tall it was next to me was crazy, but so cool. I had already gone the day before to get my Army Bomb, so I didn’t have to stand in the long lines. Somehow I was actually able to get the other merch that I wanted because my cousin went to the merch booths while they were trying to fix one of the screens before the concert was actually able to start.
We finally made it inside and managed to sneak in-between the crowds of people to get through security and that was surprisingly fast. We then walked all the way to our seats, section 204- Row 13 seats 4 and 5. It was such a beautiful view and totally worth how much they cost us! Then of course the screen had to break right as the concert was gonna start but thankfully like 10 minutes later it came back and everything was fine and great and the concert started. I screamed my lungs out so much! Surprisingly, I didn’t lose my voice. I sang along to every song and jumped around and danced. Sadly, the concert came to an end and of course I cried because why would I not. I got picked up from my cousin’s house after her dad picked us up from the stadium. As soon as I got home I showed my family pictures and videos and ended up falling asleep later that night. I should also mention how I missed school for this concert, as you can see it was very important to me.
