Master Guns Served in Army
November 4, 2022
In Las Vegas, Nevada, at Chaparral High School, the NJROTC teacher Larry Belford, aka Master Guns, has worked here for eight years. He chose this school because, “It’s an inner city school
so it feels close to home.” Considering he’s been to Babylon, Iraq, it’s understandable he chose a school that brings him back to his own childhood experience.
Master Guns graduated from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, New Jersey before he spent a good portion of his adult life in the Army. The reason Master Guns has stayed a teacher here so long, is because he really likes working with the students. ̈
When he’s not working with students, in his free time he enjoys fishing. This summer he caught a great catch that is being mounted on his wall.
