Mia Sophie Schmütz is 17 years old and in the 11th grade at Chaparral High School in Las Vegas. She is an exchange student and was born in Bayern, Germany and raised in Bremen, Germany. She arrived a couple of days before school started and will spend the rest of the school year here. In her spare time she plays lots of sports. She had played team handball since she was five and currently participates in volleyball at Chaparral. In addition, she likes to sew and crochet and to make her own clothes. She also enjoys listening to music like Annenmaykantereit or Provinz. After this school year she will go back to Germany where she will have to do two more years of school to get her high school diploma. After graduating she would like to do a tailor apprenticeship and then study fashion design.
