Aaliyah Contreras-Holmes was a 14 year-old freshman at Chaparral High School. She has a lot of interests, phobias, and dreams. She was born and mostly raised in Manteca, California. She grew up with her mom, grandma, sisters, brother, and aunt. She always worked her hardest to be on top of her classes and grades so she could have a good future and education. She doesn’t have a lot of friends so she likes to take up a lot of interests like playing the guitar, spending time with her siblings, cooking, and occasionally hanging out with her best friends. She always loved music and aspires to become a musician when she gets older. She doesn’t have many accomplishments, but she is proud she made it to high school because most people don’t make it this far. When she turns 18 she plans to move away. Her dreams are to eventually move to Portugal, so she can learn more about her culture and where her family has come from. Her life isn’t perfect but she tries to live and enjoy every moment of it.
